Critic reviews

The story is endlessly fun - full of mischief, adventure and magical twists that spark their imagination... It's amazing that the first book in the series was written in 1939, yet the story still feels fresh and full of magic for today's kids

I have loved this classic story since childhood and was very disappointed and confused by the unnecessary name changes that have occurred.

Why is Bessie now Beth and why is Fanny now Franny. It doesn't make sense ?

What a shame. Apart from this, the story is as good as always.

Not so sure kate winslet as the narrator however, I do think having someone famous or identifiable to that level is distracting from the story. (I think this for most famous people narrating audiobooks)
