Listening as an adult I found this booking very engaging. I loved the setting in a foster style care home. The plot was imaginative and had surprising twists and turns. It was very living at times too. The relationships between the children developed well. Once I started listening I could not stop! Great to find a story so engaging, lovely descriptive passages withput losing the excitement and drama. A thoroughly enjoyable read
