I really cannot critique the book because I gave up after a couple of hours. Sorry, I just couldn’t STAND the narrators voice. Worse I’ve ever heard.

The plot was very good and the book fast-paced, but it would have profited from better editing and proofing. There are many examples of where things could have been tighter or corrected ... "he mumbled a silent prayer" being a case in point. At times the narrator sounded like he was sucking his teeth or on oxygen!

Beck universe getting larger, as it should. I wish to see Alex Hunter, but Drake is an awesome heroic character. I wanted adventure and I got more than I bargained for.

it's a good story but the narrator is audibly gasping after ever sentence pleas give him an inhaler as he sounds like he can't breathe and it's kinda concerning to be honest

for the love of all that is holy can someone please give the narrator an inhaler
