I bought this not knowing it was an extreme horror, but enjoyed it all the same. Great take on a gross purgatory. He brings the world to life really well and really sets the scene for the horrors that populate the black farm. That being said, there were a couple of bits that I thought could've been explained and thought out a little more. Other than that, a great listen. Very much recommend.

what a fantastic listen which keeps you on edge all the way through. very dark and disturbing and terrifying in parts. fantastic book and narration, can't wait for the follow up!

The way elias witherow paints a picture of violence and despair is really beautiful. Great read but not for the faint hearted.

Amazing listen, from start to finish. Wasn't able to listen alone due to husband hearing part and wanting to listen too. Really good story, great narrator. Found a second book too, off I go to listen!

Really enjoyed The Black Farm, found the characters and world building were really well done. Some gory, disgusting scenes but again done well....you definitely do not want to visit this place!! It did leave me with some questions though, couple of bits that either I have missed or just weren't explained. Overall, I would recommend and I'll listen to the sequel too.
