Syl was given a choice by Gramps when they died. Reincarnate as a regular person or embark on a daring experiment. Driven by a desire to honor Gramps and a sense of adventure, Syl chose the latter... only to awaken as a lowly slime.

With the odds stacked against Syl, the question of their survival loomed large. Could they not just survive but thrive? Could they unlock new magic and integrate new slime cores? The future was a vast, uncharted territory, but Syl was unwavering in their determination to explore it, no matter the challenges that lay ahead.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm already on the second book just forgot to rate and review This although I don't know why but I had a feeling that one of the Adventurers that helped syl out was going to die namely Roderick because he was going to become the Guild Master and get married that just screams death flag to me more than likely at the hands of those Nobles

as i said, i realy enjoyed this book, but its a little faulse advertising sayings uts 20hrs long but come to find its around 18hrs ling with a 2hr bonus book that seems seporate of the series. i am moving on to book 2 and i realy cant wait to find out what happends though did get the scence of a deathflag on the horrizin 🫣🫆

This review is not just for audiobook 1 in this series, but also audiobooks 2-3-4 because I like the whole series.
I like the story. I think it's a good interpretation of the main character Syl with solid progression and a good interpretation of the character of the whole story as a whole, and it's also fun to listen to.
I also like the narration of the story as a whole, and I especially like that when it comes to the narration of skills, traits, and other parts of the system, it's not done in a robotic way, but in a more captivating way that keeps the focus.
Overall, I think this audiobook series is a solid choice, and I hope we get to see more of it in future audiobooks in the series.

I found this story very enjoyable to listen to. The narration was good, apart from some of the editing as there are parts where it sound like one word or name has been inserted and is quite jarring. Also, the last 2 hours are a sample for another book. Those points aside though, the story itself is a good light hearted listen and I enjoyed listening to Syl's adventures
