Written by Gene Roddenberry and based on the screenplay for the movie, It's a great novelisation and adds a lot of texture which is sadly missing in the original theatrical cut of the movie (less so the director's cut). The reader of the audiobook does a great job on adding some personality to the characters in the book without doing impressions.

If you're a Trek fan, even if you don't like the movie, this book is well worth a go,

I read this book about 30 years ago, I was great to have it read to me, I enjoyed it as much as when I first read it.

Yup as the title said took a few chapters to build as wasn't sure how it would go but then bang I was hooked didn't want to work just wanted to listen to the story downloading Khan now😁
