Summary

funny and passionate, it was a good story, enjoyable from start to end, but surprised some issues are still not resolved by the last page, but i will finish the series so that i will see if i get some answers to unanswered questions along the way. the narrator was fantastic. she did an excellent job, made me laugh all the 1st half of the book as her acting was so believable! 10/10

Finley has a great attraction to the hot ex model and dad Roan but has totally misread his situation. This series is getting better it’s nice revisiting characters from book 1 yet it could totally standalone. Fantastic narration!

This is the second book in the series. It is standalone but I liked that I listened to the earlier book first. I like knowing the backstories of the repeat characters and understanding the subtle references to past events.

Finley works for Robin Landry at the Heart of the Family café and catering. That is where Finley and Roan's paths cross. While it is insta-attraction, there are a few misunderstandings, past relationships and upcoming weddings that challenge their HEA. Finley has to find her confidence and make some hard decisions as well. The book is definitely a rollercoaster that doesn't slow down until the very end.

I enjoyed this audiobook. Very entertaining!

Another entertaining addition to the series. I like that each book features a new romantic pairing, while weaving elements and characters throughout the series. Finley was looking for a fresh start, fortunately Robin provided the opportunity. Roan was intrigued by Finley since she came to town. The two face some hurdles in their journey to HEA, while dealing with emotions, revelations and undeniable passion. The story ends with a bit of mystery, that I look forward to discovering in the next book.
