I was not that into royalty when Harry was erring on the global stage and Meghan was rampantly ambitious. It passed me by until the bad behaviour of the duo. It appalled me that anyone could be so disrespectful to the Queen. I hated the arrogance, a trait I despise in most people. This book is very thorough on the bits that appear. I feel a lot was left out, perhaps to ensure Tom doesn't get a lawsuit he cannot defend. The more I listen, the more I realise that the only positive thing about Meghan is her tenacity. Surprising then that she could not put in the work for the Royal Family. She wanted stardom without effort. She is a classic narcissist, using and manipulating people until they were of no value to her. I can't tell you how appalled I am by her behaviour in Rwanda, using children to model fashion. She is tone deaf. No compassion, no empathy, just a veneer. Also abhorrent is her fabrication of her childhood. Thomas really did do everything for her. And now I get why Samantha has been so acrimonious. Honestly, she is a sorry excuse of a human being.

Not my normal read, but a page turner which I finished in 24hrs. I clocked MM at the beginning and this only confirmed and strengthened my thoughts about Her, not pretty to put it politely and as for Harry, well any sympathy I had toward Him has diminished greatly. I will endeavour to read more from Tom Bower, God Save the Queen!. 👊

The truth will be told. A truly enlightening experience as you are taken behind the curtain of lies, deceit and falsehood of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. You can clearly see the scheming and malevolence of Meghan as she uses the discarded heads of friends, former partners and family to step up the social ladder. As with all bullies, the truth catches up with them and this book represents that very tipping point.
