I have enjoyed every one of the Fildema mysteries. The history of the land of the five kingdoms of Ireland is so well incorporated and although I don't need certain things to be explained in every book, as I could now answer pretty much every question on that period, I can understand that they are included for the benefit of new readers.

The narrator is superb and captures the characters extremely well. I shall be very sorry when I've listened to the last in the seried!
