I read this book and was transported. This is a well crafted and brilliant start to an eagerly awaited sequel. I decided to listen to it second time around and wasn’t disappointed I highly recommend this series in any format. A definite favourite.

I really enjoyed this, the narrator is fantastic. The storyline isn't "epic", but the characters are well written and it got me interested. Definitely listening to book 2 immediately.

It started slowly but pulled me in. Easy enough to listen to and want to hear more. Will be list to the rest of the series.

Fully invested from 1st chapter, loving the themes & motifs this saga is based on & incorporates. Books like this whereby at least the first couple of a series are in the plus catalogue make my audible subscription seem worthwhile keeping.
