I’ve listened to a LOT of LitRPG/GameLit books. This is something different. A very enjoyable story and fresh compared to so many similar concepts/stories out there. Top notch voice performance too. Couldn’t stop listening. Keen for the next in the series now.

This was fantastic. So many lit rpg series fall into the trap of becoming a shallow series of fight then grow powerful, then fight the next thing etc. Especially when the main character isn't in a party of any kind. This book excels at having all characters feel relevant, regardless of how important they are to the story. I truly don't have a clue what will happen in the next book, which is a huge credit to the writer.
