Summary

Where does memory end… and something else begin?

Bruce Carter is a broken man in a world that’s already fallen apart—haunted by loss, drifting through the ruins of a collapsing city with nothing left to fight for.

Then everything changes.

When a catastrophe turns the streets into a battlefield, Bruce rescues a young girl who awakens a pain—and a hope—he thought was long buried. Along the way, he meets a woman whose presence reminds him that even in the darkest moments, connection can still exist.

As they flee through a dystopian nightmare of destruction, fear, and silence, the fragile bonds between them begin to form something dangerously close to a family.

But survival is not their greatest enemy.

Something watches from beyond the chaos.
Something far more deliberate than war.
And the truth Bruce is closing in on may be more devastating than anything he’s prepared to face.

Nexus Point: The Awakening is a dystopian sci-fi thriller about memory, grief, and the price of escape.

Nexus Point by S.V. Stan is an absolute must-read. From the very beginning, the story completely grabs hold of you and doesn't let go.

The plot is masterfully crafted, with a series of brilliant twists toward the end that constantly force you to re-evaluate everything you thought you knew. But beyond the suspense, what truly left an impact was the emotional depth. The depiction of losing a child was so raw and powerful that I felt the grief right along with the characters.

It is rare to find a book that combines such a gripping, twist-filled narrative with such profound emotional weight. A five-star experience that stays with you long after it ends.

This book was designed to make you think outside the box. This book is something I would have never picked up but I was pleasantly surprised with the book and I liked the story and will definitely look into more stories about this. The narrator did a ok job I had to spead up the audiobook a bit the narration was a bit slow for me personally.

Very interesting
