My name is Katniss Everdeen. Why am I not dead? I should be dead.

Katniss Everdeen, girl on fire, has survived, even though her home has been destroyed. Gale has escaped. Katniss’ family is safe. Peeta has been captured by the Capitol. District 13 really does exist. There are rebels. There are new leaders. A revolution is unfolding.

It is by design that Katniss was rescued from the arena in the cruel and haunting Quarter Quell, and it is by design that she has long been part of the revolution without knowing it. District 13 has come out of the shadows and is plotting to overthrow the Capitol. Everyone, it seems, has had a hand in the carefully laid plans - except Katniss.

The success of the rebellion hinges on Katniss’ willingness to be a pawn, to accept responsibility for countless lives, and to change the course of the future of Panem. To do this, she must put aside her feelings of anger and distrust. She must become the rebels’ Mockingjay - no matter what the personal cost.

Sister, tribute, revolutionary, the Girl on Fire—Katniss Everdeen has been known as a lot of things, but there is truly no character quite like the heroine of the The Hunger Games series. The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins is set in a future dystopian world where the Capitol keeps a tight hold on Panem, the country made up of what is left of North America, and its strictly divided 12 districts. The main trilogy follows Katniss Everdeen on her journey from an average, impoverished girl in a forgotten district to the symbol of resistance. Here's everything you ever wanted to know about Katniss.

I loved all 3 book but at the end i was crying there was only 2 minits left by then i knew gale was never coming back. I never liked peta since the moment he was reaped i wish gale went with catniss then gale woud just be a baker however if this happend so many things woud be diffrent like in book 1 woud gale gang up with the carries or find kateniss only i will never know i cant setel for this ending all the lives that had been lost and rewind where all used. katniss was USED coin may be ded but she never went throug all that tramer like the hunger games, quter quell and the deth of everone she knew no meber of district 13 had that not even spme reffuge from a poor disstrict like 9. But panem will never be perfec whenever i hear the hanging tree i cry. And aftrer this horrible end with peta and kateniss, rue, prim, gale, catos, foxtace, thrasher, finnic, prims dad and mom, finnic, morped victors, plutearc, snow cian especially will never be there i am so upstet if you just sperd a life even id it was a carrier like clove and cato from book 1 glimmer woud be better then nothing but oveoisly after all this truma she needs to stay in 12 at the victors villege were no one will visit to be hoest i think the reson for poor cians deth was the mayors dougter if she never gave kateniss the pin or peta was not reaped kateniss wpud be a happy littel peic in snows games but sadliy after reading this book i feel snow is good and its small things like ppl from district 13 who are the real villains. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and can finally say that I’ve now completed the series. Well-narrated and an interesting plot line. Definitely worth a listen.
