Catching on to the town's dirty little secrets didn't take long, but I never imagined, not for one minute, exactly what opening the lid on that particular Pandora's Box was going to bring...

The fallout from the previous book sees Morgan Rook assigned to a case intended to get him out of the city, but the sleepy town of Copperwood Falls is not what it seems and he has a new set of problems to deal with before he can leave.
The performance of the narrator is a good one, serving to nicely enhance the book with clear and distinctive tones that help to draw in the listener.
Overall, an entertaining follow-up to the previous book in this series and I will be interested to see how the series progresses.
