This was a good believable story which was well narrated. There’s nothing I didn’t like about this book. Not exactly gripping but it is a nice love story with a touch of spice!

Lovely characters, great setting and somehow believable. I really liked how Steph was such a kind and likeable character while still having a big ego and the anxieties that apparently go with stardom.

An 'Enjoyable Romance', a little different from the Author. I did find it dragged a little in parts but overall I enjoyed the audio and liked the two MC's. There was little angst and little drama, just a sweet love story. The narration was good and that always helps.

Abby Craden portrays E. J. Noyes’ Steph and Harper beautifully, and the charm, banter and all around warmth is perfection!

Apparently, I’m a sucker for a Southern accent, who’da thought?

There are some CRACKING one liners in this that made me laugh obnoxiously loud. In public.

I’m not sorry.

Overall, the story is sweet and fun;

Steph, Actress and Harper- MUA have worked together and secretly crushed on each other for years!
Finally they get their chance to take the leap and be together, while negotiating the new dynamic of work and romance.

There are moments of homophobia and backlash from paparazzi / deep fakes sprinkled in, which is all together believable, and you feel the hurt in all scenarios.

But the way these characters come back together from withheld feelings, half truths being exposed and the pressure of the world around them, with honesty, trust and communication-
I think the phrase in the novel is:

“Clarity is kindness.”

These two women are in for the ride, and ready to go through this thing called ‘life’ together.
