Mark Murray loves his girlfriend, Rebecca Lucio, but she doesn’t love him. She believes their love has withered away, and she has already fallen for another man, but she struggles to formally end her relationship with Mark. But Mark knows everything already - the lies, the deceit, the cheating. He has a plan to punish Rebecca in the most violent, disgusting way possible. He is going to make her sick...unbelievably sick.
Jon Athan, the author of Dr. Sadist and Scattershot, reinvents the definition of "lovesick" in this disgusting, gag-inducing, and extremely violent horror novel.

Sick in love, sick in mind, sick in body, sick in concept! This is a revenge story that weaponises extreme sickness in its many nauseating, and mainly sexually transmitted, manifestations. Be warned, it will make you gag and probably dry-retch on more than one occasion. Too be honest, I'm not sure how Matthew Berry stomached it but I'm glad that he did - his narration and characterization is first rate and really brings the story alive. I dropped a star only because, even for me, the litany of disease became a tad overpowering at times and the story began to sound too much like a medical journal. But hey, it's a story about sickness right! Tougher stomachs might not be so squeamish. So, now that my stomach has calmed, this is a definite 5-stars overall and totally recommended. But keep a bowl nearby......
Lovesick? Sick will suffice. And brilliantly so!!

This isn't for everyone. It might not even be for all the horror readers out there.
Are you lovesick?
