This love triangle is best enjoyed after book one and going in with an open mind.

"Sometimes the wrong choices take us to the right places."

My past: I was 18 when I first gave away my heart. A love so profound, I didn't understand it.

My present: I never had to prove she was mine until he makes an appearance. Tall, dark, and older.

My future: Should I walk away and not look back or stay and this time let destiny guide my heart?

Note: triggers—contains MM/MFM scenes. While each book can be listened to as a stand-alone, the Serendipity series has a crossover of characters and might be enjoyable if listened to in order.

This is #3 of the serendipity series, and I would definitely read them in order.

I have to confess it took me a bit longer to get into this, but once in, I was riveted. This author is so good at love triangles and twists that you just don't see coming.

I really like Lorenzo and his brother, but I wasn't sure about either Rayden or Zena. Ray grew on me, though, once he figured out what he wanted, but as for Zena, hmmm! It was lovely seeing Drake and how he handled Lorenzo. What a great dad! 👍

I was disappointed by the ending as it was quite abrupt, and I would have liked to see more action, but perhaps more will be revealed in #4.

The #dualnarration was perfection by new to me narrators #jtipstone #connorhayes and #simonelewis

Incredible! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

‘I have a heart just like you. The only difference is, mine isn’t easily manipulated. When I give mine away, my love will be infallible.”

This was definitely my favourite story of the Serendipity series when I originally read it, so I was exceptionally excited to hear my two favourites Rayden and Lorenzo brought to life, in my ears and they didn’t disappoint.

Rayden finally gets his happily ever after. Having been heartbroken, it’s gonna be a rough ride, with a lot of whiplash for him to find his one true love. A true love that is so unexpected but so perfect. We finally find out what happens to his first love Zena and how they happen to meet the devilish, delicious Lorenzo!

Connor as Rayden and J as Lorenzo were amazing, I could not fault them.
They were perfect. I did find the female narrator quite slow and I did have to speed her up during her chapters. She did have a lovely tone to her voice though. For me the stand out stars were the male narrators.

Infallible is a one complex love story, with lots of twists and turns and spicy times…amazing!

Oh Rayden

I keep falling into the installments of this series! Each book is just as good as the last, and the stories are incredible. This one features Rayden, whom we met in the first story, and with the cliffhanger left me wanting to know about him and the love of his life, Zena. Rayden had a crush on Zena, and the two had definite chemistry. She worked in a club owned by Lorenzo who also wanted her. That's where this book truly begins. What happens next? I can't tell you, but it's mind boggling, incredible addicting to listen to and had me not being able to put it down. The twists and turns this story took are unbelievable, each one leading to a new path, but always in the same direction. And the outcome? Perfect. It's exactly as it was meant to be. For this story in particular, I am wondering what goes on in the head of Charlene Namdhari! It's mixed with suspense and danger, a bit of angst and a little tragedy. There is never a lack of spice, but the mix up of these three had me wondering how it would all go. Loved it! Now I can't wait to start the next in the series!

Now let's talk about the narration! What a team! J Tipstone is phenomenal. Lorenzo is a love him or hate him character, and that voice had me melting. His inflections and smooth tones were perfect for this charismatic made man. Connor Hayes reprises his role as Rayden, a bit soft spoken at first and matures and grows as he ages. I love how his self confidence increases. And Simone Lewis is the perfect Zena, innocent until she is not. Loved this team, and their portrayal of the story, it's an addictive listen.

Phenomenal!!

I have to start this by saying I didn't warm to Rayden in book one or two at all; with the exception of the ice rink scene in book one I thought he was such an arrogant character and going into this book I didn't expect to be as engaged as I had been in the previous stories. I cannot believe how Charlene Namdhari completely changed my opinion on him after this book. His development over the nine years this story spans took me on such an emotional rollercoaster! Rayden's endgame relationship in this story is now my favourite from the Serendipity books and the note in the locker is a series highlight for me.

This story is hard to review without spoiling anything and I am glad I went in without knowing a single thing as knowing even the broad strokes would just lessen the experience. Although Lorenzo is a mafia capo we don't really see much of that world considering the length of the story and the plot is far-fetched but there are so many twists and turns in this and genuine shocks that I didn't see coming which I liked. There are secrets and lies but the happy ever after is so earned. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was I found the structure a little bit hard to follow with the timeline jumps as the chapters referred to the character's ages as in opposed to "x amount of years ago" and it would take me a minute to realise when we were; I also found the pacing a little slow but its a minor point and I still enjoyed the story.

The narrators all do an excellent job of playing multiple characters; Simone Lewis in particular did the masculine roles really well and it did truly feel like two different voices having a conversation. Connor Hayes did a great job of Rayden especially considering he has to play him as a range of ages beginning at 18. J Tipstone was a new to me narrator and I loved his portrayal of Lorenzo.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR

All the twists and turns
