What an interesting story! The power of family, perseverance, mindset, and determination. A solid recount of family values passed on to create success for life. I am myself the granddaughter of immigrants who fled war and sought out a better future for their children, as well as all generations to follow. This was a strong reminder set in gratitude for all that my grandparents overcame to allow me to live the life of my dreams. It was a great listen that I can only highly recommend.

I've watched and heard many stories about immigrants on a foreign country but this one is one of the best ones. The author wrote a very good content about their background, many lessons was learned. I agree on some parts where you must struggle to obtain good things in life especially when you are in a different land, its good to hear how they've become successful after the challenges they have endured. Such an inspiring story, great narration also.

The author helps me to appreciate what parents have ingrained in me which has stayed with me. It taught to help contribute to other people's needs, The point on parents who taught to be the best of providers, to be successful to be able to help others is relatable.
Raising children to be close was a take away as the family grows bigger and the family get's lost in the midst of it. A lesson to support extending families to have all siblings travel and build shelter for those who do not have shelter for others is a good reminder. The book helps appreciate parents and ingrain doing the right things to kids.
