A night in Vegas is all fun and games until you wake up with a ring on your finger and no clue who put it there.

Jacob Conner was never planning to get married, and he's certain that sentiment didn't change even when he was completely black out drunk on the Vegas strip. Which is also why he has no problem ignoring the elephant in the room and heading back to work at the front desk of a San Francisco luxury hotel.

So when the hotel holds a big conference for its shareholders and Jacob's otherwise cold and aloof boss, Aaron Craig: billionaire and heir to the Craig Hotel Empire, starts taking a special interest in him, he has no idea what he did to be hand picked as the glorified babysitter for his equally important and pompous older brother, Trevor Craig, who just flew in for the week from... Las Vegas.

This is going to be a very, very long week.

I Do (NOT) is an accidental marriage contemporary romantic comedy, featuring three points of view in a billionaire tug-o-war over a sarcastic and unsuspecting desk clerk. You can expect enemies to lovers banter, boss/employee scandal, a lopsided love triangle, crossed boundaries, and a couple slices of humble pie in this gay office romance.

Formerly released under Ninestar Press, the story has been rewritten from the ground up with added content and expanded dialogue and chapters.

I liked the audio version, the interpretation made it more fun and amusing.
Regarding the story, this is a pure love triangle, so that means one MC has feelings for 2 people with a choice in the very end and it's clear from the blurb so I was prepared for that. It's written as a romcom and Jake's character is a bit silly and clueless. Overall there are ups and downs but I'm happy with the choice in the end.

Nice romcom

This was a novel love triangle. Jake works for an aloof boss, Aaron. This same boss asks him to mind his brother, Trevor. Trevor obviously finds Jake attractive, but rhen it turns out the other brother fancies Jake as well, hence the triangle. Oh, and Jake accidentally got married to an unknown person Vegas....!
I liked it, easy to read, unexpected plot and nice HEA.

The narration is easy to listen to, good voice characterisations and pacing. I quite enjoyed listening to Brian Cheney and would listen to another narration.

A nice enough story, the blurb states that it's a "rom-com" but I couldn't find the humour. It was however free in the plus catalogue so I am complaining, it was a nice way to pass a few hours. The one thing I didn't enjoy was the narrator's portrayal of Trevor, he sounded like a sixty year old with a lifetime of cigarette smoking behind him!

An easy listen

Jacob is a deskclerk at a San Francisco hotel. He is absolutely against marriage. He was in Vegas for his sisters wedding. Jacob thinks his boss, who is the billionaire hotel heir, is a jerk, but all of a sudden upon his arrival back at work, he starts sucking up to Jacob and asks him to babysit his trouble brother while he's visiting. Coincidentally the brother lives in Vegas.

Jacob wakes up married and can't remember a thing and now he has 2 heirs paying him close attention whom he doesn't particularly like and the 2 brothers both realize just how sweet Jacob is.

This was a light read. I loved Jacob. As for the brothers, I both loved them and hated them at times. I wouldn't say any of them had chemistry but I did thoroughly enjoy their banter. I enjoyed the world the author created and the side characters for the most part. There was zero steam and I didn't really miss it. It worked for the plot. The plot kept me interested from start to finish and just like Jacob I was surprised by all the twists and truths that get disclosed along the way. I really wasn't sure how this was going to end or even how I wanted it to end. It definitely keeps you guessing til the reveal. I won't go as far as to say I loved it but It was a fun read.

The narrator did a good job. He expressed the emotions well and brought life to the story. He gave some of the side characters their own voice but the MCs all sounded the same and could be confusing at times especially with 3 MCs and 3 POVs.

lots of twists
