About this listen

The Hand is missing. Her future depends on finding it.

The Hand is stolen. Donna is ripped from everything she knows, cast into the brutal thirteenth century with nothing but her faith, her courage, and the fragile hope that she can survive.

Her companions, trapped in another time, can only do so much. The quest is hers alone. The jeweled relic known as the Hand of Maud has vanished—and until she finds it, she can never be safe. In a world of castles and kings, secrets and betrayals, every step draws her deeper into peril. Love tempts her, fear haunts her, and time itself may close its doors forever.

This is not just a journey across centuries—it is a battle for Donna’s heart and her destiny.

Heir to the Hand is a sweeping tale that blends clean time travel romance, medieval historical adventure, and the suspense of a relic mystery.

Perfect for listeners who long for:

  • Clean medieval romance with faith and courage

It was so interesting to hear how someone from our time would react to living in the middle ages. The world felt very gritty and real, and the loss of the Hand made the whole situation feel very urgent. Donna’s faith is her anchor, and I liked seeing how that helped her make friends and stay safe. The romance is very light and sweet, fitting perfectly with the adventurous tone of the book. It’s a simple story told in a way that makes you care about what happens to everyone involved in the search.

Patti Pierucci has done it again. Her to the Hand is a memorable tale that brings listeners back to Medieval time where knights, barons, and royalty rule the land. The royal jewels are legendary and the hand particularly meaningful. Will the hand be restored to its rightful owners? Will lost lovers be restored? Will right and wrong see justice? There's so much excitement I did not want to stop listening. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

What I enjoyed most about Heir to the Hand was how it combines medieval adventure with a heartfelt romance rooted in faith and personal growth. Pierucci creates a vivid historical setting that makes the time-travel element feel both exciting and meaningful. The relationship development felt sincere, and the themes of trust and destiny added emotional depth to the story. The narration by Connor was warm and engaging, helping bring the characters and setting to life. While a few moments felt a bit predictable, overall it’s an enjoyable and uplifting continuation of the series.

A smooth blend of history and romance
