When Howard, leader, mentor, and friend to the staff at M Fisher Financial, is suddenly "retired" from his position, it marks the beginning of a change in the way the company does business and looks after its employees. Gone are the principles of leadership, respect, and value for the staff, replaced by a management team with no industry experience, who create a culture of fear and random firings, always accompanied by the "we are going in a different direction" standard excuse.
Amid these new principles, one member of the workforce, top salesman Ray Martin, finds his voice and openly challenges the new practices, making himself a target of his new boss and her team of puppet managers in the process.
