Maddox
I’m not a fan of Christmas. I’m happy to stay up in my mountain cabin and let the silly season pass me by. But when a friend asks for a favor, I can’t say no. Now I’m stuck in my cabin during a snowstorm, trapped with the most beautiful man I’ve ever met - who can’t wait to get away. He just might break my heart when he goes.
Ravi
I’m racing to get home for the birth of my goddaughter when mechanical troubles force my plane’s emergency landing. There are no beds at the inn due to a horrendous storm, but a friend says she knows a guy who won’t mind putting me up until the bad weather passes. Now I’m trapped with that man, and I must decide if I stay, hiding from the rest of the world, or go and face my past to earn a shot at my happily ever after.
This is a 72,000-word, hurt/comfort, lumberjack/nurse, grumpy/sunshine, forced-proximity MM romance novel with a moderate amount of angst.

Instalove is not usually one of my go to reads, but something about it set at Christmas has a magical feel to it. Both Maddox and Ravi had backstories that were emotional to listen to. Whilst it was an instalove, it did not stop after the words "I Love You" and I enjoyed following these two men as they worked towards getting the relationship that they both deserved.
The secondary character even when they were poking their noses in were likeable and a shout out to Princess Sofia who has even the grumpiest character bow down to her whim.

I like Gabbi Grey's writing style which is very enjoyable. I got into the story quickly and enjoyed listening to this story.
After a tragic incident during a rescue mission, Maddox has withdrawn from almost everyone and now lives alone with his dog in a cabin in the mountains after his boyfriend at the time left him. The fact that he unexpectedly gets company is because his best friend asks him for a favor. Her friend's brother, who is just passing through, is stranded at the airport due to the weather and can't make it.
Maddox picks up Ravi and the two spend time together at Maddox's cabin. This goes rather silently at first, but gradually the two thaw out and slowly open up. And then there is a certain attraction that they both can't deny. Things get really hot and Ravi is soon torn between flying on and getting to know Maddox better. I liked how they both face their past, although I think it's a pity that Ravi doesn't tell his story until so late. Both men carry scars from hurts in their past and have to face that.
I enjoyed the setting in the cabin in the mountains immensely. And Maddox's dog Sofia was a little highlight of this story.
Ginger Snapping All The Way is heartbreaking because of Ravi and Maddox's past. At the same time, the story is heartwarming, emotional, and sweet. I found both characters likable.
Michael Dean did a great job as always. His pacing is comfortable and he expresses the emotions well. He is a talented narrator who gives different voices to the various characters, making for a great listen.
I requested a free review copy of this audiobook and this is my honest opinion.
Emotional story and great narration

I liked the realness of the characters. I absolutely adore Maddox! He is such a good person but he is beating himself up over something that was not his fault. I SO felt for him. And even when he is growing at people, he quickly realise his bad behaviour and corrects - a little like a dog who has been beaten down but still wants love.
Ravi I had reservations about. He had moments of being unlikeable but he made Maddox open up and heal, so he is forgiven😆
But this is probably also one of my favourite things about this story. The realness of the characters. They are damaged, make bad decisions, run, think way too much, are angsty etc. But they find each other and help each other heal❤️
