I loved this story. Joni is super relatable and Ren is just perfect. All of the characters and relationships are well developed and nothing takes away from the story. I liked the format with the flashbacks mixed in with the present. It's narrated very well too. I came across this story when searching for books read by Patti Murin as narrators can be hit and miss, but this voice is very easy to listen to. I would definitely recommend this book.
