This was an emotional one. I did not see Kaden’s backstory coming. I definitely thought it would be complicated, and I knew it would hold my attention as Nikki Ash books do. But it was more than I imagined. And Ashley’s backstory was as well. Both of these characters needed and deserved a happily ever after. And I enjoyed going along for their journey to get there. Some of the obstacles thrown in their way almost seemed insurmountable but they kept getting though. I was so happy to reach the end with this one because it felt so well earned, deserved and fought for two amazing characters. The narration was really great on this one. Both performers seemed well suited for the main characters and I would happily listen to either of them again on future titles.

I really enjoyed this book great addition to the series it was nice to finally hear they're story it it was so good and i loved the characters , the narrators did a great job

Nothing will get me hooked on a romance faster than it being a friends to lovers story. Kaiden and Ashley each have baggage that they haven't let the other in on but that aside it's clear from the beginning that they love each other as much more than friends. I have loved the other book I read in this series, but this one sucked me in and it was a read in one sitting turn for this. Brilliant on audio, also.

so good.. so romantic, I so enjoyed listening to this book. I have been on a really dark kick, and this one felt almost wholesome (still spicy) and like such a great listen. The narrators really seem to fit the characters and the story so well. Everything about the story just came together for a great performance.
