I'm not usually into hockey romance, but this one got me. The history between Tessa and Drew is messy and complicated, not just a simple misunderstanding. Her brother's injury and the years of resentment felt real, not manufactured drama.

The narrator did a great job with both voices, capturing Drew's guilt and Tessa's struggle between hate and wanting him close. The small town setting added nice pressure with everyone watching their every move. The chemistry was off the charts.

A great listen for anyone who likes second chance romance with actual stakes.

Right from the start, the story felt intense. There was a lot of hurt and history between the two main characters. I liked how the story showed both sides. It made me understand why they acted the way they did.

In my opinion, the romance was the best part. The slow build made the big moments feel worth it. Some parts were a bit predictable, but still fun. Overall, it was a good listen if you enjoy emotional love stories with tension.
