This book ends at the start of a journey and just as the main character is under attack. I can only imagine that the next book is of her survival of the wicked creature and is then going to discovery what is hidden and end before anything is found it ends.

This story felt like it wasn't completely finished. Like it was a taster for a publisher and due a couple more chapters to complete. In books that continue a theme, book 1 may leave on a cliffhanger for sure but this was like it stopped in the middle of a battle. I noted reviews on the other books in the series before starting this one as earlier reviews to mine warned me of this. And chapter 9 I think it was repeated itself after 10.

but not worth a credit, please put the series in box sets on audible. also the chapters were in the wrong order shame I enjoyed it. and would like to listen to them all.
