Summary

The Tower of Eternity holds unimaginable treasures... for those strong enough to claim them.

The clock is ticking, and Earth is on the verge of being swallowed by the Undead Empire. Zac has one final chance to gain the power needed to deal with the threat; the upper levels of the Tower.

But even if he survives the challenges of the 81 levels, another trial await him outside. A bounty has been placed on his head by the System itself, and the young elites of the whole sector are sharpening their knives.

Meanwhile, something is brewing in the Mystic Realm. An event that could change the fate of Earth.

this book was not quite to my liking compered to the other books, i actualy skipped a good deal of the time in the tower. i got tiered of all the time spent in the tower, even if some of the levels was good. i think almost half the book was spent in the tower... maby more. there was also to many new side caracters of "huge" power making links in some (to Zack) unwanted way. also little to no progression on some side caracters and plotlines. the last part of the book was good tho! it had the same feel as the previous books. I hope the next book bring some clousure to the spiderweb of old and new things in the story.

Not the same standard as the privious books.

This was the least enjoyable instalment of the series so far. I won't say I didn't enjoy it but it wasn't the best. The main problem and I've noted others seem to agree is the amount of internal monologing the main character does about the world and it's mechanics. Simply put this is dull and adds nothing to the story. Now don't get me wrong I'll still get the next book but if the trend continues I'll drop the series but I am hoping for more action/story less pondering on why this does that or this works like that.

The story progression is fair enough it moved on so no complaints on that score but the book could have lost 2-3 hours and the story wouldn't have suffered. In a previous review for the Eric Ugland series Good guys/Bad guys series I was critical as they were very short (typically under 9 hours) but at least they were as a consequence always moving along quickly. I don't mind some padding but this was too much. Fingers crossed for next time.

Too much reflection
