Who was your favorite character and why?

Mr. Snugly is easily my favourite character and I'm sure many a cat lover will agree he is strangely true to life. However, it is the generally well drawn, believable characters with otherworldly traits and the everyday details of life in Southern America set against the fantastical that draw me in to the novels of Charlaine Harris.

I’ve listened to the Midnight Texas books three times in five years and I’m still heartbroken that there are only three books in the series. What lovely characters. They feel like real life friends, or family. I could have read dozens more in the series if they had been written!
