THE STORY

Out of options, Ufthak leads his Waaagh! through the mysterious webway, to a place where kunnin’, sneakin’, and thinkin’ are the name of the game. A place with little truck for muscle and brawn – Commorragh, the Dark City.

Here, where kabals and haemonculus covens pump psychic viscera into the warp, Ufthak is thrown into gladiatorial combat and soon finds himself up against an archon who will stop at nothing to prove she deserves to rule the Dark City – even if it means bringing Commorragh down around her.

But the Drukhari are about to discover that while orks may be simple, very little about them is ever straightforward.

Absolutely brilliant follow up to Brutal Kunning (one of the best ork books). Captures the essence of orkyness really well and was a surprisingly good look at the Dark Eldar as well.

If you like orks, it’s a very good book. If you like grots, it’s also very good. If you like the slow development of star-crossed lovers in a world not quite suited to romance, that’s covered too. Excellent performance from Harry Myers as always!

A great Ork novel. I think warboss was better and this book had a little to much focus on the dark eldar but it was still very good and I'm excited to see where it goes.

Solid Orky Fun

This is a great continuation of the story about Ufthak Blackhawk. There are also some other returning characters that I hope we will see again. As any book about the Orks it also contains humor and in my opinion the humor is done in a very good way. Additionally the story progresses in a nice manner, there are some points where alot happens in a short while but besides that no issues. Personally I hope we will see another book as it sets the stage for an expansion of ork lore and furthering their place in the current story line in 40k.
