Great story about a US Marine mortar company fighting in Korea. What training was like and the intense war fighting build up in Korea. Typical American humour, first hand account of intense action. Well told!

I’m an excellent, first hand account from training, to the war, to outcome. Graphic, no holds barred, including a lot of choice language, references to racism and real life situations these men dealt with. It’s an uncompromising and nasty book and it throws the listener into its world without remorse.

The narrator is exceptional - as someone else stated, there is nothing clinical about his reading of the book, he used style and tone to draw you in - which really helps the flow.
