About this listen

I've always lived a simple life.

The ranch and my horse are all I've ever needed. My world was quiet and solitude. It suited me just fine. Until I met her…

Maddison Mackenzie ended up in Clearwater Creek by chance.

She's beautiful, she's chaotic, and she's everything I never knew I wanted. Now I just have to convince her to stay.

Caught by a Cowboy is a small-town, cowboy, breeding romance, and is a complete standalone. Expect an HEA, an alpha obsessed with breeding, pregnancy (not just in the epilogue), small town vibes, he falls first and hard, grumpy/sunshine, over-protective hero, plot twists, dirty talking hero, and praise.

This story surprised me a lot, I love a pregnancy trope (I know some ppl don't like it but I do) and this is the first book I've come across that isn't in the last few chapters or only the epilogue. This story follows the pregnancy from start to finish and I'm here for it.
Initially I was thinking this wouldn't be good because the FMC only knows the MMC 30 mins before they get to it but it actually really works for the story, there's a few twists and unexpected events but the story is a sweet small town romance.
Narration: Thomas Oakley has my heart he really does, he's unbelievably good, he's a true cowboy 🤠 his voice is made for cowboy stories, I heard him for the first time in another cowboy book and he nailed it, he was so funny reading the guitar joke (if u know u know lol) I could listen to this man read me a shopping list and id ask him to read it again.
It's the first time I've listened to Lorie west and although she did a good job I just felt her voice wasn't relaxed enough when reading the descriptive parts there were moments when her voice came across so natural and it made it so much better but I'd give her 4 stars total.
The spice was good and enough for the story I would recommend and would listen again.

This one happily surprised me
