Nice to find a police force that is devoid of bad tempered , foul mouthed , incompetent , basket cases . Enjoyed this book so very much ,can't recommend it highly enough , this promises to be an excellent series

I really liked the first Smith book and when I read some of the reviews for this one I thought the plot / story was spoiled in many. And I nearly didn’t venture any further. I’m so glad I did. It’s another brilliant story with great characters. Beautifully written and so witty and the narrator is just perfect! I loved every minute. Onto the next!
