really really hate the change to the narrator.. spoilt the series. annoying and frustrating how he is shouting 5he story rather than reading it

Just struggling to listen because of the narrator, just irritating. They can’t even pronounce plaits correctly. I want to listen to the story but keep turning it off ! It’s a shame because I loved the books before the change of narrator.

I’ve been listening to these from book 1 and absolutely loved these and loved the story developing within. Until this set. The narrator has changed and I’m sorry to say it has completely ruined these books for me. The narration in these is absolutely terrible. After listening to 12 books with the same great narrator and getting used to each character and how they sound everything has totally changed. One of the characters has lost his accent and the rest now all sound the same. Shame as it really detracts from fantastic story

unless you really need to finish the story, save your money! the new narrator completely ruins this, he's just loud but at the same time sounds like a teacher lecturing you. Can't pronounce words properly, the word is plaits as in hair plaits not plates!!!!!! And why does Nick now sound like he's 50 years old and smokes?
it's such a shame as it's a great story but now is unlistenable.
