About this listen
Now that you know the basics of Spanish, put your knowledge into practice with the unique stories and dialogue lessons offered in Spanish Level 2. Read a story about a couple in a restaurant and then practice ordering yourself a campechano, maybe a cerveza (o dos!) while you're at it. Or read a dialogue set in a store and then form your own questions, like asking how much something costs. Diez dólares? Quince dólares? Behind the Wheel Spanish Level 2 first reviews vocabulary and basic concepts from Spanish Level 1 and then expands on these areas, focusing on medium length sentence combinations, versatile vocabulary, and extensive sentence building instruction to improve conversational skill and listening comprehension. Spanish Level 2 features both English and native Spanish speaking instructors.
This program includes a companion book to reinforce and enhance the audio experience.
Critic reviews
“The audio-only lessons build upon one another, using a native speaker to help you learn useful words and actually construct sentences from the get-go.” —Minneapolis Star-Tribune
“Unlike other audio language programs, this series encourages students to create their own sentences, making it more fun and conversational than other more expensive programs.” —The Cleveland Plain Dealer
“Focuses on real-world conversation...Great value.” —Men's Health magazine

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?
This course is aimed at Latin American Spanish but this is not made clear in the description and so is less useful for those of us wanting a European course. I also found the accents and phrasing (both the American English and Spanish) quite difficult to understand in places and so learning new words was a lot harder. This is really not very well suited for European audiences and has been a waste of money for me.How did the narrator detract from the book?
The accents were not helpful for European use. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointing, the description of the book could be betterLatin American Spanish and poor quality
