The day has held its own responsibilities, conversations, victories, disappointments, and unexpected moments. Some things may have gone well. Other things may still remain unresolved. Yet as evening settles around us, God gently invites us to lay down what we were never meant to carry alone. The night is not a time for striving. It is not a time for rehearsing every concern or replaying every conversation. It is a time for rest. A time for trust. A time for remembering that the God who watched over us throughout the day continues to watch over us through the night. The Lord remains faithful when our eyes grow tired. His care continues when our strength is spent. His presence remains near while we sleep. Father, thank You for carrying me through this day. Thank You for every moment of grace, every act of provision, and every unseen way You have protected and guided me. Jesus, I place this day into Your hands. I release the things I cannot change, the questions I cannot answer, and the concerns I cannot solve tonight. Let Your peace settle over my heart and mind. Lord, fill this home with Your presence. Surround every room with Your peace. Bring rest to weary minds, comfort to troubled hearts, and stillness to anxious thoughts. Help me sleep deeply, peacefully, and safely in Your care. Across the world, from Nashville to Auckland, from Lagos to Singapore and Buenos Aires, may hearts find rest, homes know peace, and weary souls discover the comfort of God’s unfailing love.
