Welcome to a new podcast from your friends at Hitting the Hardwood! The HTH Draft Show will be a seasonal show covering the NBA and WNBA drafts with the same enthusiastic Wolves and Lynx lens you've come to expect from us. We'll mix that enthusiasm with expertise, with energy and evaluations. Terry Horstman hosts the show and will be joined each episode by folks from across the basketball landscape to talk all things prospect-to-pros pipeline.
In this first episode, Terry is joined by fellow writer Brian Oliu. Brian spent nearly two decades at the University of Alabama, starting as a grad student in the MFA in creative writing program before teaching writing classes there for several years. And in all that time he rarely missed an Alabama hoops home game. So forget football! Bama is basketball country. Brian shares his insights on why Labaron Philon is better than Collin Sexton, why Amari Allen is worth keeping close tabs on even though he's going back to school, and give reluctant flowers to other prospects coming out of the SEC.
