See, I am doing a new thing…” Jesus, in the middle of this day, I pause and recognise that I do not need to carry everything I have picked up so far. There have been moments, conversations, thoughts, and pressures that have gathered quietly along the way. Some of it I have held onto without even realising. But I do not continue like that. I pause here. Your mercy meets me again—not at the beginning of the day, but right here, in the middle of it. You do not wait for a fresh start tomorrow. You offer renewal now. So I let go. What has built up, I release. What has lingered, I place into Your hands. I do not rehearse it or carry it forward—I allow it to fall away. You make space within me. Not by force, but gently. You create room for clarity, for calm, for steady continuation. What felt full begins to ease. What felt heavy begins to lift. Jesus, renew me here. Let me continue this day without carrying what is no longer needed. Let me move forward with a lighter heart and a clearer mind. I begin again from this place.
