About this listen
Their story is familiar to many. Whether at the beginning, middle or end of your journey in life, in one way or another we are all attempting to find a home a place where we belong, a place where we are cared for, a place where we are loved, and a place where we are held. For many, home is where you are born, where people look like you, talk like you, maybe even think like you. But for some that may not be enough or an option.
For some, the people who look like you or talk like you, may feel so foreign. I wrote this because for a little while home for me was hard to place, find and even remember. But after some time... after being held by impeccably kind and generous humans and warm, caring settings and forests, I found home again.
Many homes, in fact. In this beautifully short but also long life we all have permission to feel what we feel, to love what we love and to feel at home where we feel at home. Wherever and whatever that means to you. And maybe for a moment in this short journey you will find home here too.
