Her sudden recovery is a medical miracle.

An enigmatic woman convinces Bibi that she escaped death so that she can save someone else. Someone named Ashley Bell.

Bibi's obsession with finding Ashley sends her on the run from threats both mystical and worldly, including a charismatic cult leader with terrifying ambitions.

The narrator made me cringe. Somebody teach her pronunciation of the words too big for her. I had to listen with gritted teeth.
Other than that, overwritten and schmaltzy, as expected, but a rattling good tale, as expected.

Good Story, but

I enjoyed listening to this book, the narration was good and the character voices fun. The story kept me entertained while painting.

I like a lot of the parts that makes up this story but it feels like they were put together in a rush.
The overall story ends up feeling like a joke and i honestly can't recommend it.

This book seemed to have everything. Good characters - loved the 2 short stories associated to this. The lead character was strong. A decent concept. However it was missing something. Just read his latest Devotion and that was great. Classic DK. So read this one and enjoy, but don’t expect a classic

A decent read

I enjoyed this one, although not as much as some other koontz books I’ve listened to. Story was good but seemed to lose its way sometimes and almost repeat itself in places. Not his best but still worth a listen as it’s an interesting idea he explores.

Great narration
