This book is a great first step into learning the absolute basics of arabic. I am an intermediate level learner but I like to cover anything I come across. I like that it gives you a few different words for some words as arabic is so vast. The only issue I had is the accompanying book assumes you can't read arabic so it doesn't give you the arabic and English word, just the English word and transliteration so you can't copy words to memorise vocab without a little guess work to get the right letters. Other than that a great book to learn basic words
