An interesting premise, a good not op MC, somewhat plain but still well-written side characters, all of it undercut by veeeeery slooooow plot development and severely mediocre fight scenes.

Thre are 7 books more than 90+ hours of audio and the series has a proper ending. Not overly dark but not softhearted either a pretty good regressor story, no harem, no ai or guide, a very minimal amount of romance, good stuff.

in many books with this theme, you have the main character trying to amass as much power as they can for them and a small group of people, even though a small group of people failed once before.

in this book, the main character not only makes use of his knowledge to strengthen himself and a group of people, but also the law enforcement and humanity at large by informing them of how to handle the summons.

I love the approach of the story.

Really nice book to listen. The only thing I would really advise would be the status window... It would be perfectly fine if they say just what changed and then after some breaking fight the whole status. It was really annoying to listen to the whole thing every time.

Author clearly passionate and has a strong literally voice. While a bit unpolished it was an a very enjoyable listen.

Unfortunately the narrator, while not bad, is not a good match up with the character or tone of the writing. The words humorous but the timing they are spoken with does not carry this.

Fortunately the story is interesting and well thought together. Definitely something worth investing the hours listening to. Might however continue reading it rather than listening
