I loved this audiobook because it gave me a realistic view of anxious attachment and how it impacts how we think, act and engage with others. It broke down the cycle of over-analysis, seeking reassurance from partners, friends, family, etc. and why we emotionally react in a way that made me feel seen and not blamed. It also touched on emotional regulation and nervous system awareness, which felt current and applied.


Narration by Taha Zaid is well organized and easy to follow. He does an impressive job of explaining the psychology behind why seeking reassurance from others doesn't solve our relationship anxieties. What does promote change that lasts?
