I've not left feedback many times but this book is brilliant. If you think you know this case I'm sure there is something in this book that you didn't know there was for me.

I found the book was narrated well but was really hard to listen to at times due to its graphic nature. Two abused children grew up to be two very depraved and abusive adults. Feel for all the children and women involved.

I was aware of Geoffrey Wansell via some true crime podcasts but had not read any of his books. This is a detailed and at times very disturbing story but I am glad I listened. Good narration by Colin Mace and you really do sense how much impact the Wests had on the many lives they stole.

Although there are parts of this book that tends to be a bit repetitive, I think it needs this to get the full story. There are times when I actually began to feel sorry for Rose, then for Fred, then realised they were just psychotic! Those poor children living on that home, and still after all they went through, they love their mum and dad. Its a good book, a really good listen. I well recommend it.
