John Solo saved the show. Sort of. John’s performance meant I didn’t give up too soon, because bit by but the book grew on me.

Roe Horvat writes some gorgeous stuff but it’s a hit and miss in terms of consistency. Which in a way keeps it surprising. This one was almost a miss - a surprise. That ended up sweet and cute enough to get to the end.
